All, First off, congratulations on a Superior performance at the Buckeye Invitational. The band performed well and were very well-behaved in the stands. Thank you for that. It makes our jobs much easier when the kids are being awesome. We have a tremendously long yet rewarding weekend ahead of us. On Friday we celebrate the Senior's "Last" home game and conclude our district competition season with a double header to Lancaster High School and Nelsonville-York High School. Uniforms It is very important that students are take extra caution to keep their uniforms nice and clean over the next 3 performances. We do not want any accidents. As the weather turns hot chocolate might seem like a good idea during our 3rd quarter breaks but it truly isn't worth the risk! Friday is our full Purple Uniforms and Saturday is all white! Be sure to bring your garment bag for protecting your uniform on the bus from any dirt and grime when not in uniform Saturday. Senior Parents You and your Senior should plan on meeting boosters on the south end of the track around 6 to line-up in alphabetical order. Your students are instructed to dress nicely. It would be appropriate for you to do the same. Parents will need to purchase tickets. Friday Timeline 3:15 - Dress rehearsal with seniors. 3:45 - Seniors Dismissed (finish changing then meet parents on track around 6pm.) 3:45 - Underclassmen tunnel rehearsal/ pregame rehearsal. 4:15 - Load/dismiss 5:30 - Underclassmen report to Ridgeview/Warm-up 5:45 - Seniors drop off costumes at Ridgeview band Room. (Door G) 6:05 - Underclassmen Depart for Stadium 6:15 - Form tunnel on track 6:20 - Begin recognizing Seniors 6:40 - Perform Amazing Grace with seniors encircled on the track. (Seniors take parents inside the tunnel) 6:45 - Band members in uniform make their way back field to perform pregame. 6:50 - Perform Pregame 7:00 - Kick-off/ Seniors report to inside Ridgeview to change. Saturday Shows info / Ticket Information for Parents and spectators / General Comments For students this will obviously be a long day. Encourage students to bring weather appropriate clothing when not in uniform and cash for concessions. The Boosters will provide a tailgate style meal after the show at Lancaster high school. Students will need their garment bags to hang their uniform when not in it! Both shows have different ticket pricing and procedures. Lancaster Show Tickets to the Lancaster show is %100 ONLINE. You can purchase tickets by following the link below. Information for spectators can be found on the separate link regarding location, parking etc. Nelsonville York Show Nelsonville York tickets are $5 and will accept cash. The host of this show has provided directions to the school. Please see below. Timeline for Saturday 9:00 - Arrive and Load Equipment 9:45 - Busses Depart for Lancaster 10:30 - Arrive at Lancaster High school 11:25 - Meet Host 11:35 - Warm-up 12:15 - Perform at Lancaster 1:30 - Awards 2:00 - Load/eat (Tailgate Style! Hint: Bring yard games) 4:00 - Depart for Nelsonville York 5:00 - Arrive at Nelsonville York (Dismiss to watch bands perform. Students sit on Away bleachers) 7:30 - Report to Trailer and buses to suit up and unload 8:10 - Meet Host 8:20 - Warm-up 9:15 - Perform 9:30 - Report to Trailer and start the load. 10:00 - Awards 10:15 - Load and depart for PHSC 11:45 - Arrive at PHSC State Marching Band Final Update Mark calendars for October 30th in the evening. We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 8:30 at Hilliard Bradley High School in the 2021 State Marching Band Finals.
