Chaperone Meeting: we will be holding a very important information meeting for ALL Rose Parade Chaperones on Monday, August 6, at 7pm, in the Pickerington Central Band Room. We will be reviewing draft itinerary, chaperone responsibilities, and other important information.
 
Road to Pasadena: We are very excited to host Tournament of Roses President, Mr. Gerald Freeny Labor Day weekend.  As part of the festivities we will be hosting a gala dinner featuring Gerald Freeny as our keynote speaker. Puerto Rico: On our recent site visit to Pasadena we learned about an amazing band program from Puerto Rico, the Banda Escolar de Guayanilla.  The band was selected to perform in the 2019 Rose Parade.  However, their town was hit very hard by the hurricanes last fall and they are struggling to raise funds for their students to make the trip.  Dr. P is Pedaling for Puerto Rico to raise funds for the students in Puerto Rico.  Check out the link to learn how you can sponsor the 500 mile Pedal for Puerto Rico: http://www.pickeringtonroseparade.com/pedaling-for-puerto-rico.html
 
 
Rose Parade Seating: For those not in the official traveling party wishing to watch the Rose Parade you can book your tickets through Sharp Seating: http://www.sharpseating.com    Sharp Seating is the exclusive vendor for Rose Parade grandstand Seating. You can also watch the parade from the street at no cost.  Chaperones and students DO NOT need to purchase tickets for the parade or band fest.
 
Itinerary: We are very close to completing our itinerary for the trip. We are waiting on out Band Fest performance times and our parade line-up number, which is determined by the Tournament of Roses.  Once we receive that information we will be able to finalize our schedule for December.  Thank you!
 
Payments: It is very important that all rose Parade student and chaperone accounts are current.  We WILL NOT order airline tickets or the commemorative uniform for any person whose account is not current.  Also, please remember the next Rose Parade payment is due September 1.  Thanks and Go Pickerington!
