Shop With Raise Right
Raise Right is a gift card selling company that gives rebates on card purchases. The Booster Club then splits the rebate with the student. For instance, if you purchase a $50 Old Navy card with a 13% rebate, half of the rebate goes to the Booster Club and the other half of the rebate goes to the student's individual Charms account as a credit.
This is a great way to earn a little extra for the band, and for yourself. We all shop and you can use the cards just like cash. Many of the companies have e-card features that allow you to purchase and use right away (i.e. Amazon). Just find out what your total is then go to the Raise Right website and purchase e-cards to use for your purchase before completing the sale. You can also download the Raise Right app and purchase gift cards when you are physically in a store.
Of course, you can also order physical cards as well. Patty Richardson is our Booster Club representative. She will look at the Raise Right site every Wednesday night by 9 p.m. If there are enough orders to cover shipping, she will place the order and the cards will arrive at her house typically by Friday (... Monday at the latest). She will then send an email to those who ordered them and make arrangement for pickup.
Payment for e-cards is done on the Raise Right site with your linked account or credit card. Physical cards can be paid with the linked account, credit card or check (at pick up).
There are hundreds of retailers that participate and Shop With Scrip is super easy to use. They also offer bonuses throughout the year.
