Ridgeview STEM Junior Guard Club
We are beginning our 2nd year with the Junior Guard Club at Ridgeview STEM Junior High. This club is a team of students that compete at the same winter guard competitions as the High School Color Guard team. Competitions begin in mid-January and run through the end of March. We host spring training for anyone interested in trying the guard and to begin some skills training. The official club and regular practices will begin after the beginning of the school year.
There is no experience necessary! This is open to any student, including current band and orchestra students, who are interested in learning to spin a flag, sabre, and rifle. There is a also dance training provided.
In our inaugural year, we came in 3rd place in States!
