Good morning,
This FYI will be relatively short. In comparison to two weeks ago. Not much has changed by way of protocol, but here are 4 updates since the last game. 1. Per the athletic office football tickets are not released until Wednesday evenings. This has to do with the visiting schools uploading their team roster and student id#'s. Look for tickets to go live this evening. 2. The concession stand is going to make pre-sale concession food options available to students. Order online via the student's google classroom for Marching Band and then the food will be delivered during 3rd quarter. 3. We will be hosting a pep-rally/dress rehearsal of sorts in the baseball outfield at Victory Park before the game. if you are unable to attend the game but want to hear the band on Friday join us at 5:30pm. Wear your masks and keep distant (by families) in an effort to make everyone feel safe and welcome. 4. Senior Night will take place at the band festival on October 24th in Tiger stadium. Please save the date. Look for more information for senior parents soon. Uniform The band will be wearing their summer uniforms on Friday. The vast majority of the band looked great and pasted uniform inspection at the last game. Please make sure your student's polo is not wrinkled, and remind everyone with ear rings that they must be small and subtle. No hoops or hanging ear rings, please. Anyone with long hair must have a way to pull it up off of one's shoulders. White ankle socks are the only approved socks for summer uniforms! Timeline 4:00 Band room opens/Percussion Load-in begins/instrument pick-up 5:00 Band room closes/Percussion load-in concludes 5:30 All Students report to Victory Park in basics block formation for attendance 5:45 Dress rehearsal/Pep session begin (Dare we call it a Tiger Skull session?) 6:30 Dismiss to enter stadium 6:45 Begin Pregame 7:00 Kick-off TBA Band room open for 30 minutes after the game
