All,
I'd first like to start this FYI by saying, thank you to everyone who has made the band a priority and have helped give the kids something to look forward to up to this point. If you get a chance, please send anyone of these awesome people a note of encouragement and especially the boosters and staff for making many of the details possible. I can't show my appreciation enough and I'm extremely thankful to have such wonderful people supporting and believing in this program. Protocol update As we move into next weeks practices its important that students continue to practice social distancing and use face coverings when not participating in the activity. We showed improvement from day one, however we need to continue to show growth in this area. Next week's schedule Students should still report to practice on Sunday evening, July 19th, 6PM - 9PM. The Booster Board will be there to collect forms, and fees. Please note SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR MONDAY - FRIDAY. Due to an effort to reduce contact time among band students to something more similar to other fall activities, practice will be from 8am-11am, Monday through Friday. The evening sessions have been cancelled completely. Finally, the board will be at the school Monday morning to collect remaining forms and fees. After Next week Looking ahead, we will have our traditional shutdown so that custodians can begin the cleaning of the band room floors and 500 halls. Band will pick back up in the evenings starting on August 3rd in the evenings. August rehearsals will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings until school starts. In conclusion In addition to cleaning out the uniform room, the uniform moms will have show t-shirts from previous years for sale for $5, duffle bags that were incorrectly labeled with a name (you will need to cover/fix the embroidered name yourself) for $10, and we have 3 car flags for $10 each. Pictures of items will be posted on Facebook group Friday or Saturday. I will let the boosters specify when these items will be available for sale. If there are any questions on the schedule for the week please contact me at [email protected] Best wishes and have a great Saturday off!!!

This post will help us understand the value of teamwork and preparation. There are different rules that we needed to remember and we needed to think of the best way to improve ourselves, the changes that we want to change will have that transformation that we want. We just need to be patient and we just need to be smart as we make those choices in life. This post will help us understand the different sides of the game.
