Good Morning Marching Tiger Families,
Last night we managed to put all of our drill on the field for our 2020 Halftime show! Kids were excited and so is the staff. We work very hard at focusing on quality over quantity. The time-consuming process of demanding excellence and going at a pace that allows every student to feel as if they are contributing to the overall good makes for a very exciting moment when the last chart goes on! Uniforms We will have the same uniform as our last home game. This Friday we will wear a modified uniform. I discussed this with Cohort A kids today, I plan on doing the same thing on Thursday with Cohort B. The uniform for Friday will be as follows: - Tennis Shoes (only tennis shoes, no boots or slip on shoes) - Blue Jeans (no jeans with holes) - Band polo - Hair must be up - No Large or colorful piercings - The weather for Friday will be mild. It's not quite chilly yet. No blankets in the stands, please. ***Students may bring a Tiger or PHSC sweatshirt/jacket to wear in the stands. No college apparel or graphic designs of any kind will be permitted. We will remove our sweatshirts for Pregame and Halftime.*** Senior Bio's and recognition All seniors have been invited to a special google classroom to fill out the bio that allows me to write a concise script. These need to be in by this Friday so that I have time to format everything. Seniors will be recognized before the October 24th performance and will look very similar to how North managed the event at the previous show. Due to Covid regulations and PLSD guidelines seniors will be allowed 2 escorts on the field. If your family situation is extended beyond this we will gladly announce all guardians and parents in the announcements.
